Personal Training
It’s a relationship that arrives from a business affair and often results in chosen family. I view the relationship with all my clients as a Love/Hate ordeal where I challenge them physically. Their investment in their body becomes my business and they get results.
I ensure all three components of fitness are conducted in every session. Strength with weightlifting or weight bearing exercises. Cardiovascular, by the most efficient way of getting the heart going. Flexibility, through purposeful stretching and mobility exercises.
Lastly, the core elements as I love to refer. Most humans lack the understanding of the dynamic complexity that makes up the core of our bodies as well as their development: Rectus Abdominal, Transverse Abdominals, Obliques, and Lower Back. I have developed a system of training that includes these elements into every session.

Nutrition
A diet should have no beginning and no end, but they do. Therefore, I like my clients to work on changing their minds about their relationship with food. It starts with our mindset. A diet should be the way we nourish our bodies. A tailored set of nutrients to fit the physical activity, the current metabolism, and the chemistry of the individual. Sometimes we learn through trial and error, but more often we don't.
The Nutrition Component at OneLovesFit is an exploratory meeting where the client brings in their dietary history. Aspects such as metabolism, current body fat, health history, and desired goals are discussed. Through this process, our goal is to arrive at a plan of attack. Sometimes the mindset of a battle to conquer an old habit is what is needed to arrive at an effective personal diet.

Yoga
So you see, we have this body. We can refer to it as our temple. For it is the only body we get in this particular lifetime. It is the place where our mind and our soul dwell. So if we look at it from this awareness then we can understand how Yoga is the gift we give our bodies.
A regular rolling out of the matt, a connection with your breath, a release of the burdens of life, and time and again you get that intimate connection with self. I don't believe that Yoga is for everybody at any time. But, I do believe that Yoga is for everybody at their specific time.
In today's society, humans have modified Yoga to their desire and this too is correct for that which they wish to experience. However, I feel that Yoga in essence should be used to restore, the body, the mind, and the soul. Can Yoga be challenging? Yes, it often will be more physically demanding for the rigid, less mentally stimulating for the distracted, and discouraging for the ones not ready.
Therefore, commit an act of Self Love and show up for yourself. Not once but time and time again. Roll out that mat, connect with your breath, set an intention, and then flow through your poses and obtain the gift the sages gave us. An intimate time with yourself!
